Pastor Lieut Curry was born and raised in the Bahamas.
He was lead to Christ over thirty years ago by a missionary serving
in the Caribbean. He met his wife while serving as drum major
in a marching band. They have two grown daughters, Katoka and
Latoya who are also active in the church. He has also played the
trumpet in a church band. He enjoys reading, especially informative
Biblical based books. He has worn many "hats" in his
life, having worked as a carpenter and helped build the first
KFC in Nassau, Bahamas. He enjoys traveling and has led mission
trips the Haiti and Puerto Rico.
Pastor Curry always looks for and finds the positive
view in any situation.
Education: He graduated from Nazarene
Bible College with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies. Holds
in BS in Management and Human Relations from Mid-American Nazarene
University and a MS in Management from Baker University.
Experience: Pastor Curry has led
Nazarene and Free Methodist churches in Colorado, New York and
Kansas. He has also worked as a sales trainer, organized communication
network between ministry and community, been a substitute teacher,
and founded multiple outreach programs in the various communities
where he has pastored. Currently he serves as President of the
Free Methodist Urban Fellowship whose purpose is the promote,
support and encourage urban ministries.
